PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 13, 2012 - SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 13, 2012) My Business Matches? (MBM) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) partnered to execute the One-on-One Business Matchmaker for the OUTSOURCE 2 LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARRIBBEAN (O2LAC) conference held at Plaza Mayor in Medellin, Colombia on December 6, 2012.

There were 235 suppliers who met with 56 international, corporate buyers in pre-scheduled, 15 minute face-to-face meetings. Over 800 meetings occurred. Buyers and suppliers discussed outsourcing to Latin American and Caribbean countries, procurement, and contract opportunities.

President and CEO of My Business Matches?, Jeff Vigil, said, ?This is the fourth international business matchmaker we?ve executed for IDB this year. International business matchmakers add to the growth of the global economy. At O2LAC, we?re spotlighting the capabilities of Latin American and Caribbean businesses so that other regions see the quality of work that is produced there. In total businesses from 23 different countries attended and 812 meetings occurred. It is a successful initiative and I look forward to continuing the good work with IDB.?

The Inter-American Development Bank and My Business Matches? also launched a mobile application available to all participants of the conference. The mobile application, created by Foonkie Monkey, allowed all buyers and suppliers to view their matches, schedule meetings, and make any necessary modifications to their schedules. In the future, the mobile application will be made available for all business matchmaking events.
